Growth and learning depend on engaging the academic challenges offered in school, and students are expected to complete and submit their own work. Cheating, plagiarism*, or other forms of academic dishonesty are not allowed. Students who cheat or plagiarize may be required to redo the work, receive a reduced grade, and/or be referred to administration for other consequences depending upon the circumstances surrounding the incident.

This includes but is not limited to:

● Copying from someone else

● Letting someone else copy from you

● Talking, gesturing, or using cheat notes of any kind during a quiz

● Passing test information from one class to members of another class

● Plagiarizing-submitting someone else’s work as your own

● Using electronic devices as a means use someone’s work or to obtain information/ answers

Please see the policy on Cheating on page 8 of the School Handbook linked here.
